Go&See: Dramatic Text workshop by Suresh Nampuri

As part of the Theatre in Palm Go&See programm, we invite you to join a two-day workshop on character and emotional channeling from text. If you are studying or interested to learn about theatre directing, playwriting or acting, this is for you!

 Workshop is run by inspirational Suresh Nampuri, a playwriter, director, actor and producer from JÁ International Theatre in Lisbon, Portugal.

What to expect?

 The best way is to offer a workshop- say on character and emotional channeling from the text – every culture has its distinctive emotive parsing and tonality and working through a dramatic text from a completely different culture, like say Dario Fo who wrote for Italians and mixing them up with say Ibsen, Chekov and a wee bit of Shakespeare would through these emotive flavors (the ones that are easily accessible and the ones less so) into sharp relief!
