European Theatre Lab: Work with and within vulnerable communities

Workshop of discussions and exercises about the work with and within  vulnerable communities (note: the term can be interpreted and constantly redefined very widely and differently) – from artistic interventions to co-organization of autonomous communities where socially engaged community artists get to co-ordinate medium and long term projects and operate beyond a series of fixed and outside controlled projects, with limited resources.

We will start from real and imagined examples to see how theater as a tool of “social design” can bring multiple benefits and social realms to diverse communities, and we will play with a series of exercises that can be framed within a broader theme: theater applied outside the institutionalized artistic space.

Workshop is led by film and theatre actress Katia Pascariu.
